The LaVale Lions Club in Allegany County, Maryland, is dedicated to service; our members strive to improve the quality of life and make a difference in the local community as well as support of world-wide projects of Lions Clubs International.
Our club is part of the world's largest service club organization: Lions Clubs International, a global leader in humanitarian service. We are located in Lions District 22-W, in Western Maryland.
The Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month in September through June, at the LaVale Volunteer Fire Department, 421 National Highway, LaVale, Maryland. These meetings are dinner/program meetings and commence at 6:30 p.m. Visitors from other clubs and prospective members are welcome to join us. Leave a message on our Info Line for Club Secretary Charles Croft at 301-729-4166, in advance, to make a reservation.
In July and August, the club meets at the Lions Picnic Pavilion at LaVale Park.
Through hands-on help and fund raising, club members improve our community and promote positive endeavors.
We're proud to be a Campaign Sight First II Model Club.
